Most of us live in the area because we have an appreciation for the beauty of our natural setting.
To contribute to maintaining the beauty of our night skies, both River Valley Ranch and the Town of Carbondale has exterior lighting regulations that limit the amount of light pollution our exterior lights will cause.
While these regulations help a great deal, leaving your outdoor lights on all night every night can still be bothersome to your neighbors. If you leave your lights on for security reasons, please consider installing motion sensing lights instead of leaving them on constantly.
Please be respectful of interior lighting as well and turn lights off when not in use or you are not in residence.
Thank you for your help in reducing our light pollution!

Golf Updates
The RVRMA Board and Golf Advisory Committee are awaiting a presentation from DHM Design of Carbondale later this month, the next step in understanding how the RVR golf course could potentially be used as “open space.”

DHM is working on cost estimates for a range of open space scenarios that the RVRMA could pursue if it owned or controlled the RVR golf course. The cost estimates are phase two of the consulting agreement with DHM. Phase one defined the open space scenarios.
