Fitness Programs:
Programs include group exercise, incentive plans, testing services and more. Programming will vary month to month. Please see our Group Exercise and Community Events calendars.

Fees: 
Cancellations for personal services must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in an assessed fee of 50% of the service fee.

Age and Eligibility: Children under 14 years of age and under are not allowed in the workout rooms unless:
     - they are 11-14 and taking a class led by an approved RVR instructor
     - they are 11-14 and being supervised by an approved RVR personal trainer

Members and their guests are obligated to follow the established policies.

Chris is the Operations Director at River Valley Ranch, but came to RVR to run the Ranch House and all of its various programming. His training experience covers 19 years in the areas of general exercise, advanced fitness, training children, working with adults that have serious illness, and prenatal/postnatal work.

Josh is RVR Tennis Director, but in the off-season he works with clients and teaches some of the Ranch House classes. Josh enjoys mixing things up a bit and making training interesting and fun for all to enjoy.
John Norton 945-0872 379-1375 John Norton has been training the longest at RVR, but spends more of his time at his studio in Glenwood Springs. When available, John will make time to train clients at RVR.

Jenny is RVR's senior therapist and is certified in Swedish, Esalen, Acupressure, Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy, Advanced Myo-Facial Techniques, Hot Stone,  Reflexology and Deep Tissue . She graduated from Massage Therapy school in 1988 and has been taking advanced courses ever since. 

Her therapeutic approach is to custom-fit each session to the client; drawing on their individual needs and desires, while taking into consideration their medical/emotional histories and what has or has not  benefited them in the past. She integrates some or all of the above mentioned techniques in a session. Her clients have said: "I'm able to move so much easier!" "I feel I have more space in my body!." "I'm pain free!" "I feel so relaxed!" "I feel two feet taller!" "I would marry you if I wasn't already married etc. etc. :)"

Pixie has developed a sensitive touch and mindfulness in her massage work that invites her client's awareness and participation as they work deeply. She enjoys giving individualized treatment to each client with the common intention of making space in the body. Pixie draws from several modalities including neuromuscular (trigger point) therapy, myofascial release, swedish, and polarity energy therapy, most often working with an integration of all of thse technques.
