Many of the homes in River Valley Ranch surround a beautiful 18 hole public golf course. The RVR Golf Course is owned and managed by Crown Golf and is not a part of the homeowner's association. Weather permitting, the course is open from March 15 to October 31. Proper golf attire is required. Men’s club is on Wednesdays and Ladies’ Club on Tuesdays. Summer rates for the 2006 season were:

• Tri - County Area: $65 for 18 holes and includes a cart. Valley Pass is available to anyone living in the Roaring Fork Valley for $1000. This is a book of 20 tickets, each good for 18 holes with no black out dates or times.
• Out of the Area: $90 for 18 holes
