River Valley Ranch has five clay courts with an incredible view of Mt. Sopris. Our program consist of homeowner and non-resident memberships using the courts from mid April to mid October each year. Our Tennis Director maintains a full program of clinics, leagues, lessons, and mixers for members to enjoy. Annually, River Valley Ranch has a tournament where players from as far as Denver and Utah come to play. We invite you to come out and visit our program and let us serve your tennis needs.
Tennis Passes for Non Residents (Application) may be purchased at the Ranch House. Passes entitle the Tennis Pass Holder to use ONLY the tennis courts and the Great Room/Lobby area of the Ranch House as well as the locker rooms. It does not include the use of other amenities of the Ranch House (pools & fitness rooms). RVRMA has the right to modify or amend the Tennis Rules and Regulations at any time.

Childrens programming is available to homeowners and non-residents as well. We have spring, summer and fall programming that includes clinics and camps for children 4 to 14. 2010 Tennis Policies
1. Tennis members must be identified upon entering the facility through the front desk area, When possible, identification will be done through a fingerprint ID system. A member photo will be required upon joining. Purchases for services to be placed on an account will require fingerprint identification as well. No one is to access the tennis area through the side gates unless previous arrangements with management.
2. Guest fees will be $15.00 per person per court time. All guests must register at the front desk and sign a waiver liability form. Guest fees will be directly billed to the member’s account or the guest’s credit card.
3. The front desk personnel at the Ranch House will make all court reservations. Homeowners may make Court reservations 96 hours in advance and by tennis member 48 hours in advance. Players may not “double book” courts on the same day (two court times- different opponents, unless prior approval is obtained from the Director of Tennis.
4. Prime morning court times are blocked to ensure maximum court usage. Court reservations are permitted to be booked at 8:00am, 9:30am and 11:00am on weekdays and 9:00am and 10:30am on weekends.
5. Court Times are one and a half-hours (1 ˝). Playing time may be extended if court is not reserved, however court must be relinquished, upon request, to players that have not utilized a previous court time.
6. Cancellation of court times are encouraged a minimum of 4 hours in advance of scheduled time. Members reserving a court must arrive no later than thirty (30) minutes from the reservation time or risk losing the court time. Members with scheduled private lessons or signed up for prepaid events, must cancel 24 hours in advance or be charged the full amount. Events marked as “non-refundable” are exempt from this rule.
7. Individuals, under the age of 18 years during prime hours, depending upon court demand, may have restrictions imposed on them as to court use.
8. Proper tennis attire as determined by the Director of Tennis is required at all times. Colors are permitted, but cut-offs, Bermudas, jams, bathing suits, mesh shirts, tank tops, cotton T-shirts, gym shorts, sweat pants, slacks and running shorts are not permitted. Required attire includes sleeved shirts for men and tennis coordinates for women. Regulation tennis shoes are required. All guests are expected to adhere to the dress code.
9. Proper tennis etiquette should be observed at all times. Excessive noise, racquet throwing or profanity will not be permitted at any time.
10. Use of the tennis courts shall at all times be subject to the control of the Ranch House. The Ranch House may reserve courts for special events when needed.
11. The tennis facilities may be closed when necessary for maintenance operations, party reservations, and unsafe weather or when dictated by safety considerations.
12. Tennis pro may reserve courts at anytime for programming purposes.
14. The Ranch House staff may implement temporary rules during peak play periods as deemed necessary. |
