Michael: RVR Assistant Tennis Pro

Michael is from Cedarburg, Wisconsin, a small town just north of Milwaukee. He is a senior at Ferris State University, where he is a student in the Professional Tennis Management program. At school, he is the President of the university’s club tennis team, which competes regionally and nationally against other USTA Tennis On Campus teams. He picked up the game of tennis when he lived down south, in North Carolina, and has been playing for over 13 years now. Something that Michael has always loved about tennis is the competition. On top of that, he enjoys how tennis continues to grow even more enjoyable for the longer you play. Whether it’s singles or doubles, if you play enough, you’re going to improve as a player and that helps tennis earn its reputation as a lifetime sport.

When he’s not on the tennis court, you can find Michael doing something outside. He enjoys running, biking, and for the summer he’ll be hiking as much as possible. Coming from Wisconsin, he’s excited to get out and explore all that Colorado has to offer (and looking for suggestions).

Michael is excited to be joining the RVR team this summer and looks forward to helping the community grow their passion for tennis!
